Laser Tattoo Removal
At Timeless Beauty & Laser we use a powerful Quanta Q-Plus C Nd:Yag & Ruby technology which removes both black and coloured tattoo ink. This powerful technology operates at three Q-Switch wavelengths – two lasers in one system, allowing us to treat all ink colours in a single session. Its strength and speed of pulse means that the targeted ink particles can be shattered quickly, thereby minimising any potential heat damage to surrounding tissue. This translates directly into a quicker and more comfortable treatment experience, reduced healing time, and greatly reduced chances of scarring.
For comfort management, we use the Koolio cooling system, before, during and after the laser application. This system is specifically designed to minimise discomfort and thermal damage during laser and dermatological treatments, without interfering with the effectiveness of the laser. As well as eliminating about 90% of procedural discomfort, this system also extracts the heat from the treatment area, thereby minimising any localised swelling and improving the recovery time.

Who Can Benefit From Laser Tattoo Removal?
Everyone can benefit from tattoo removal even where the tattoo has been previously treated. Because each tattoo is unique, we tailor the removal process for each client.
At Timeless Beauty and Laser we use the Quanta Systems Q-Plus C technology which is used for the removal of not only black inked tattoos but coloured tattoos.
We pride ourselves on getting the removal right first time and also correcting and repairing tattoo removal work previously carried out by other less qualified clinics using older technology.
What Can I Expect During Laser Tattoo Removal?
In general, this is what will happen during your visit and after we review and discuss your treatment with you:
- Protective eye shields are placed on the patient.
- The skin’s reaction to the laser is tested to determine the most effective energy for treatment.
- The treatment itself consists of placing a hand piece against the surface of the skin and activating the laser light.
- Smaller tattoos require fewer pulses while larger ones require more. In either case, the tattoo requires several treatments and multiple visits. At each treatment, the tattoo should become progressively lighter
Does it hurt?
It can sting a little and feels like having an elastic band snapped against your skin. We use a specialized Cooling System which applies chilled air to maximize your comfort.
How do you determine how my skin will react with the laser?
Each of our treatments begins with a test spot so we can determine how your skin reacts to UV light.
How many treatments will I need?
This really depends on the size, colour and complexity of the tattoo. Generally we would expect to take about 2-5 treatments for amateur tattoos whereas professional tattoos may take between 5-12 sessions. We will work with you to determine the time between treatments which can be between 4 and 8 weeks.
How long is the treatment?
The process is quick and efficient with each session being completed within 30mins
Does laser tattoo removal scar?
With the latest in technology and technique, we are able to provide less than a 5% chance of scarring to the treated areas. Keep in mind that once you remove the ink from your tattoo, the scaring left form the tattoo needle is still present.
Is Laser Tattoo Removal Safe?
Thanks to newer technology, laser tattoo removal has become much more effective with very little risk of scarring. Laser treatment is often safer than many traditional methods such as excision, dermabrasion or salabrasion (using moist gauze pads saturated with a salt solution to abrade the tattooed area) because of its unique ability to selectively treat pigment involved in the tattoo.
