Our Tattoo Removal Process
Consultation
We always start each tattoo removal treatment with a one-on-one consultation. You’ll speak to one of our laser technicians to get a personalised treatment plan based on your skin type and tattoo. We’ll also walk you through the process, from session duration, cost, and what to expect during and after treatment.
Preparation
We’ll ask you to come in loose clothing that will help you avoid irritation and sun exposure. If you are sensitive to pain, we can apply a local anesthetic to make you more comfortable during the treatment. We also spot test your skin to ensure that you won’t react negatively to the lasers.
Treatment
Using the Quanta Q-Plus laser, our technicians will work on removing your tattoo carefully so that your non-tattooed skin remains untouched. To help you avoid pain and discomfort during the process, we combine it with the Koolio optimal air cooling system.
Recovery
Your safety and recovery is our #1 priority, so we disinfect the newly-lasered area with a soothing antiseptic ointment. We will also provide you with tips and products to help you care for your skin.

How much does tattoo removal cost?
The cost of our laser tattoo removal services depends on the size, colour, and location of your tattoo, as well as your skin type. Our technicians can provide you with a quote during your initial consultation.
Is tattoo removal painful?
Laser tattoo removal can cause a slight stinging sensation, similar to the feeling of getting a tattoo. Timeless Beauty & Laser uses the advanced Koolio system to reduce your pain, and we can apply a topical numbing cream as well.
How long is a tattoo removal session? How many sessions will I need?
One tattoo removal session lasts about 30 minutes. Depending on the size, colour, and complexity of your design, it may take 2-5 treatments for simpler tattoos while larger or more complicated ones may require 5-12 sessions. Each session is spaced 4-8 weeks apart.
Does laser tattoo removal remove the tattoo completely?
The Quanta Q-Plus C is very effective at removing unwanted tattoos, but it may take months after your last session for the ink to completely fade. Black inks respond well to the treatment and can be removed completely, but light-coloured inks are more stubborn.
Will laser tattoo removal leave a scar?
Between the latest in safe laser technology and our technicians’ skill and technique, the chances of scarring are less than 5%. However, any scars underneath the ink (e.g. from when you got the tattoo) won’t be removed.
How do I care for my skin after laser tattoo removal?
The post-laser recovery process is crucial to healing your skin, fading your tattoo, and avoiding infection. Regularly apply antibiotic creams and keep the area clean and dry. Avoid tight clothing, sun exposure, and picking at the scabs. If pain or discomfort persists, you can apply a cold pack for a few minutes of relief.
